VIKRAM SAMVAT 2067
Vikram Samvat 2067, or Hindu Vikram New Year 2067, is the first day of the financial New Year in North India and New Year Day in Gujarat.
Vikram Samvat 2067 begins on November 6, 2010. In some calendars the day is marked on November 7, 2010.
Please note that the New Year celebrations in 2010 will begin on November 6, 2010 as the first day or pratipada of Kartik month begins early on the day. But first day of Kartik 1 is marked on November 7.
Gujarati New Year is celebrated on the day after Diwali and is also known as Vikram Samvatsar and Hindu New Year in the respective regions.

First day of Kartik Month in Gujarat is marked on November 7, 2010.
But New Year pujas and rituals are marked on November 6, 2010 in many regions as Diwali Amavasya ends early on November 6 and the first day or Partipada Tithi begins soon after.
The First day of Kartik begins at 10:21 AM on November 6, 2010 as per Hindu calendar followed in India. But it is not counted as Kartik first day as sunrise had already taken place.
Vikram Samvat calendar is also known as Vikram Calendar or Vikram Samvat and a month is calculated from new moon to the previous day before next new moon.
Vikram Era was started in 57 BC by Emperor Vikramaditya as a commemoration of his victory upon the Shaks. This victory took place at Ujjain, one among the four places associated with Kumbha Mela. This Hindu calendar is also known as Vikram Samvant and begins with the Month Kartik or Kartak
In Gujarat, Diwali is held on the final day of the Vikram Calendar and the next day marks the beginning of the New Year and is also referred as Padva or Nutan Varsh or Bestu Varash.
In the Hindu calendar popularly used in North India the year begins with Chaitra Shukala Pratipadha (March – April). In this calendar too, the current year is 2067.
